I can honestly say that I am most impressed with yours. It was the cleanest motel I have ever seen. The staff were great, and very helpful, and I loved that you had the disc to put under our kickstand, and a place to wash the motorcycle (we did not use the wash area, but thought is was a great idea!). I plan on coming back to the area again with my husband, and then again with some girlfriends, and would not even think about staying someplace else. Thanks again for your hospitality."

"[This] was my second time back to the Sherwood. We had an exellant stay the beginning of September. I must say I've stayed in a lot of motels and the Sherwood surpases all of them, including my, used to be favorite, Comfort Inn. The room was impecably clean. When I originally called to reserve a room I could only get Friday night. I ended up making reservations at another motel up the street. I had reserved a cabin at this specific motel. However, the construction workers who had been staying in that cabin all week decided to stay the weekend. So, for $5.00 less we were stuffed into a cramped musty smelling room across from a sewage treatment plant, where we had the musical pleasure of listening to the columbines turning all night. It was so small the back of your legs touched the commode when trying to brush your teeth at the bathroom sink. It was horrible. First thing Saturday morning I prayed and held my breath as I called the Sherwood. Thank God they had a cancelation. We packed up and high tailed it to the Sherwood shortly after check in time. Oh what a nice room!!! It was spacious, clean and smelled lovely!! The TV remote worked, too. The staff treat you like you are special. They go out of their way to meet your needs. I would recommend this motel to everyone.

When we visit Wellsboro again, I will call way in advance to book at the Sherwood. They are always packed.

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our recent (5 night) stay at the Sherwood. Our room was impressively clean and each (and every) staff person we encountered during our stay was friendly, kind, and helpful. Having the pool still open was an extra added bonus for us and the in-room micro and fridge were a real convenience. We'll be seeing you in just a few weeks when we come to enjoy fall in Wellsboro and the surrounding area.

My wife and I decided to visit the Grand Canyon of PA. We researched places to stay in Wellsboro, and stayed at the Sherwood Motel. The Grand Canyon is very nice, but the unexpected highlight of our trip was the actual town of Wellsboro and the Sherwood Motel. The Sherwood is in the heart of the town, and the rooms are perfect. We were able to walk through the gas lit town and eat at many different restaurants, without using our car. The town is beautiful! - Stay at the Sherwood Motel and stroll through the streets of Wellsboro. You'll want to come back, like us.

Visited Wellsboro 2 years ago and stayed somewhere else. Checked out Sherwood at that time and decided that was the place to stay next time. This was the quietest stay we have ever had in Wellsboro. We enjoy quiet! The room is very nice.
